Image Tools

Resize, compress and prepare JPG, PNG and WebP images for websites, email, forms, uploads and sharing. Use privacy-friendly browser tools with practical controls and clear results.

Choose the right image workflow

Start with what needs to change: dimensions, file size, format or document-ready output.

Image files often need more than one kind of adjustment. Resizing changes pixel dimensions, while compression aims to reduce file size without unnecessarily changing the width and height. Format conversion solves compatibility problems: for example, a browser or upload form may accept JPG or PNG but not a newer image format. Keeping those jobs separate makes it easier to control the result instead of applying several changes you do not need.

For websites, forms and email

For a website or email attachment, check both the pixel dimensions and the final file size. A very large camera image can still be wasteful even after compression if it is displayed at a much smaller size. For application forms and portals, follow the stated format, dimensions and maximum-size requirements rather than guessing. When exact kilobyte limits matter, use a tool designed for target-size work instead of repeatedly lowering quality by trial and error.

Keep the original when quality matters

Image conversion and compression can be lossy, especially with JPG and some WebP settings. Keep an untouched source copy when the image may be needed later for printing, design work or another export. PNG is useful when transparency or sharp interface graphics matter; JPG is often practical for photographs; WebP and AVIF can be efficient for web use when the destination supports them. The best choice depends on the actual destination, not a single format being universally “better.”
